Buildings and Grounds Committee

The Buildings and Grounds Committee is responsible for maintaining the Building and caring for the grounds. They also actively identify and recommend long term capital improvements to the Meeting House.

Work Bee general list:

INSIDE

• Wash windows
• Vacuum meeting room (including removing cobwebs under and legs of benches)
  
• Clean bathrooms (including floors)
  

OUTSIDE

• Check chimney cap, perhaps install screening
• Check possible entry hole for birds on east side, install covering
• Pull garlic mustard from window wells, around foundation of meetinghouse and edge of mowed area; dispose in plastic bags
• Remove weed shrub and additional weed from front stone steps
• Dig out honeysuckle behind sign
• Prune forsythia (a lot) and yew bushes (a little) on east side
• Weed where appropriate and needed - around day lilies, hosta and iris
